What is included?

​

Hair up styling includes prepping, curling, styling and pinning. All hair styles are considered up styles regardless if the hair is down or fully up. Bridal upstyling includes placement of any hair accessories and the veil. Blowouts can be provided, but must be discussed prior to the day and will be quoted accordingly. Hair extensions can also be installed and are recommended for clients with finer hair or a fuller looking style.

Makeup includes prepping the skin, application of foundation, concealer, blush, bronzer, eye makeup and brows. Eyelashes are included for the bride and can be added on for any bridal party member. The look is finished with setting spray to last all day and night.

What is your experience and training?

​

We have had training with amazing brands and educators such as Aquage Academy, Paul Mitchell, Updos by LaLa, Hair and Makeup with Lindsay Wilkerson at FaceForward, Hair by Steph, Kenra Professional and more.

When should I have my trial run?

​

We always recommend having your trial run on the day of your bridal portraits. If you don't plan on doing bridal portraits then we recommend having your trial 8 weeks before your wedding date. This way there is plenty of time to decide on your final look for the day. Trials are held in one of our studio salons.

Where is your studio located?

​

Our studio is located in Friendly Shopping Center of Greensboro. We are inside Sola Salon Studios which is located next to Caribou Coffee and O2 Fitness Center. Our address is 704 Pembroke Rd Greensboro NC 27408.

How far will you travel?

​

Primarily we work in the Greensboro Triad area, however we can travel as far as our brides need us. 

​

Should my hair be clean or dirty?

​

We always ask that our brides and bridal party members come with clean dry hair. It can be washed the night before or the day of. We use products to make the hair not as slick and add texture if needed.

How do I prep my face?

​

The best way to come ready for makeup is with a clean washed face that has been moisturized. 

​

What needs to be prepared for my wedding day?

​

To look your absolute best on your day of it is always best to start your pampering months in advance. The best foundation for any flawless makeup application is good skin. Plan with your skincare specialist a good regimen to get your skin looking its best for the day of. We also recommend having your eyebrows groomed the week of. If you get your hair colored, this should also be done within a 1 to 2 week window to ensure your up style looks polished. Trimming your ends is also very important. Having dead ends that are thin and unruly can make a big difference in any hairstyle.

What start time is needed for my wedding day?

​

Depending on all your pre-ceremony photo sessions or first looks will determine this start time. Typically we look to be done glamming everyone 2 hours prior to the ceremony time to allow the photographer time to do the shots they need. Depending on the size of your bridal party as well, will determine how much time is needed from start to finish. Multiple stylists are available, this does cut back on time needed but does come with an additional charge. We can start as early as 9 am, any start time prior to 9 am does have a small additional charge. We will create a timeline for your special day to ensure everyone's scheduled time keeps everything running smoothly. We ask that the entire bridal party be together, enjoying each others company, the entire session or at least in the room 30 minutes prior to their start time.

Is everyone required to receive a service?

​

Not everyone is required to receive a service, but it is always highly recommended. Having everyone glammed professionally looks more polished and great for your photos.

​

Is there a minimum for on site services?

​

Yes, we require a minimum of 5 people, or services, for on site weddings per provider. This could be, but not limited to, a combination of hair and makeup. We do have options for in studio hair and makeup if needed for smaller parties or single guests. These are very limited due to high volume on weekends.

What are methods of payment?

​

Currently we only accept Cash or Personal Check as form of payment. Payment plans are available.

What brands do you use?

​

We love so many brands its always so hard to narrow our kits down! Our main go-to products will be found by Aquage, Kenra, Paul Mitchell, Morphe, Benefit, Mac, Urban Decay and Anastasia Beverly Hills.

How do I book for my wedding day?

​

If you are happy with all of the information you have gathered and received we would love to setup a contract to finalize all the details for you and your big day!
